Penetration Testing Services Manager – UK remote - £50,000 - £70,000 + Excellent benefits

Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Penetration Testing professional to join our client who is looking to transform their Penetration Testing Services.As the Penetration Testing Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of penetration testing services to our clients customers. You will lead a team of skilled penetration testers, collaborate with clients, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of our clients penetration testing projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of penetration testers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security needs, develop customized penetration testing plans, and provide expert advice on security best practices.

  • Plan, execute, and oversee penetration testing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security vulnerabilities, exploits, and testing techniques to ensure the team is well-equipped to identify and mitigate emerging threats.

  • Review and assess the quality of penetration testing reports, ensuring they are comprehensive, actionable, and meet client expectations.

  • Manage and allocate resources, tools, and equipment necessary for conducting penetration testing assessments.

  • Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

  • Generate and present regular status reports to senior management, providing insights into project progress, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Monitor client satisfaction and work closely with clients to address any concerns or issues, striving for long-term partnerships.


To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Professional experience in penetration testing, ideally leading a team or overseeing services.

  • Proven experience managing and leading a team of penetration testers.

  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Commitment to ethical hacking practices and maintaining the highest level of integrity.
