Locke & McCloud are currently working with a leading cyber security company, that are in need of a skilled Cloud Penetration Tester to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who specialises in cloud testing to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This isn't your regular testing role and will allow to opportunity to shape and define the penetration testing department.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on cloud-based systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential risks.
Assess cloud architecture, configuration, and network security to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Develop and execute penetration testing plans, methodologies, and tools specifically designed for cloud environments.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance on secure cloud deployment and configuration.
Prepare detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities, their impact, and recommended remediation strategies.
To be considered for the role you must have:
A Proven experience as a Penetration Tester, with a strong focus on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
CRT or CRT equivalent is a necessity.
Proficiency in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security assessments in cloud-based systems.
Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and platforms (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center).
Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think innovatively.
Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
