Penetration Tester -UK Remote-£45,000-£60,000+Benefits

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced penetration tester. You will be joining one of our fintech clients that have just had a new phase of expansion within its cyber team. This company will give you a break from check engagements allowing you to reduce travel down to a minimum while also providing the opportunity to engage in exciting work.


Responsibilities for this role include conducting thorough security assessments and identifying vulnerabilities in systems. Mainly this will be through Internal infrastructure testing however there will be a variety of engagements throughout your working week. You will also have the opportunity

This role will involve:

  • Conduct in-depth security assessments and penetration testing on systems and applications

  • Identify and document vulnerabilities, including potential attack scenarios and exploit chains

  • Develop and present clear and actionable recommendations for the remediation of identified vulnerabilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand their unique security needs and provide customized solutions to address their specific risks

  • Stay current on the latest threats, attack techniques, and security trends

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • At least two years of experience in penetration testing or a related field

  • Strong understanding of network and application security principles and technologies

  • Expertise in penetration testing tools and techniques

  • Familiarity with common programming languages such as Python, Ruby, and Bash

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • OSCP, Crest and ECSA certifications are highly desirable
