Offensive Security Engineer | London | £30,000-£45,000 + Benefits
We are currently partnered with a Global Cyber Security Consultancy who are looking for passionate and talented SOC Analysts who have a keen desire and interest to transition into the Offensive Security side.
This company are investing heavily in its Cyber Security division and encourages crossover of learning and skills. They are looking for someone who has had a strong grounding in the Blue Team aspect of security but with a huge passion and interest in the Red Team side.
Brief Overview:
Performing network penetration, web and mobile application testing, source code reviews, threat analysis, wireless network assessments, and social-engineering assessments
Developing scripts, tools, or methodologies to facilitate customised testing
You will collaborate with security, platform engineers, developers, and operations teams to ensure secure design, development, and deployment of secure infrastructure and code
Independently scope engagements and assessments while working with Security leadership.
Essential Experience
2+ years experience working as a Cyber Security Analyst (Blue team focused)
Familiarity with application vulnerability assessment tools (e.g. Burp Suite)
Experience with the command line on Linux and Windows operating systems
Testing in: Web Application, Infrastructure, Mobile and Database vulnerability assessments
Expert communication skills
Industry Certifications such as, OSCP, CPSA, CRT or CEH
Experience working in the fast-paced high-pressure environment
