​Penetration Tester (IOT) - UK - Remote - £95,000-£115,000 (DOE)

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a significant impact in the world of IoT? Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented IoT Penetration Tester to join their dynamic team. As a third-party recruiter, we're on the lookout for skilled individuals who are ready to take on the challenge of securing IoT ecosystems.

This role will involve:

  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments of IoT devices, networks, and applications.

  • Perform penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and exploit weaknesses in IoT systems.

  • Develop and execute testing methodologies to assess the security posture of IoT environments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate identified security issues and implement robust security controls.

  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and security trends in the IoT landscape.

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

  • Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, with a focus on IoT security.

  • Strong understanding of IoT protocols, architectures, and technologies.

  • Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Wireshark.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, or GIAC are a plus.

  • Proficient in at least one mainstream programming language (Java, .NET, C or C++)

  • Hardware/embedded system hacking

  • Reverse engineering and source code review experience

  • Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing experience

  • Ability to work independently under deadline

  • Rigorous attention to detail and strong analytic skills
