The DevSecOps Manager oversees a technical team that focuses on platforms and product security throughout the design, development, and operational lifecycles. To ensure ongoing adherence to security standards and best practices, the role calls for a focus on all system components. The position also calls for thought leadership and the capacity to spearhead initiatives that, through automation and direct interaction with teams, continuously enhance their security, effectiveness, agility, performance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of strategic planning and putting the security road map into action. To ensure an optimised security posture, review all product and platform designs, offer security requirements and serve as a sign-off point.

  • In charge of platform and product vulnerability management and reporting

  • In charge of implementing controls for cloud-based platforms to stop abuse, guarantee compliance, lower costs, and improve operations

  • Maintain a DevSecOps attitude throughout the development process by working closely with the product and platform delivery teams to ensure guardrails are clearly established and adhered to.

Experience:

  • Experience working across design, development, and operations to protect platforms and products while ensuring that security best practices are applied.

  • Knowledge and experience using tools like Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bash & Python.

  • Priority-setting, goal-setting, and deliverables-driven experience in global technology domains and sub-domains

  • Track record of interacting with the larger technical community to foresee innovations, frequently reviewing new solutions, and suggesting future business platform system requirements.
