Cyber Security Specialist – London hybrid - £50,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits!!


Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our clients growing Cyber Security team! We’re looking for experienced Cyber Security Specialists with retail experience to come and join our clients established Cyber Security team, with a focus on analysing security risks, implementing protective measures, and responding to security incidents.

Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts and logs from various systems, including POS terminals, inventory management systems, and e-commerce platforms.

  • Evaluate and prioritise vulnerabilities based on their potential impact on business operations and customer data security.

  • Ensure compliance with standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, and GDPR.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security controls to meet compliance requirements.

  • Manage and maintain security tools and technologies used for threat detection, including IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection solutions, and network security appliances.

  • Document security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts, prepare and present regular reports to management on the state of cybersecurity within the organisation.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Must have prior experience in Cyber Security, ideally with retail industry experience.

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, processes, and technologies, including POS systems, inventory management, online retail platforms, and supply chain management.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including network security, encryption, access control, and threat intelligence.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO27001, etc., and experience implementing security controls.

  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS systems, endpoint protection solutions, and vulnerability assessment tools.
