Cyber Security Product Manager – UK remote - £40,000 - £60,000 + Excellent benefits

Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Cyber Security product Manager who will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing the product strategy for our clients cyber security products. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of effective security products that meet market demands and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cyber security, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our clients cyber security products, including threat detection, prevention, and incident response solutions.

  • Stay updated on cyber security trends, emerging threats, and industry best practices. Analyze market research to identify new opportunities and threats, and use this information to inform product decisions.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and development teams to oversee the entire product development lifecycle. Ensure that products are developed on time and within budget, meeting quality standards and performance expectations.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify our clients strengths and weaknesses relative to other cyber security products in the market. Use this information to make data-driven decisions.

  • Foster strong working relationships with various teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption.

  • Evaluate potential risks and vulnerabilities in the product, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

  • Oversee the quality assurance and testing process to ensure the product is free from vulnerabilities and performs optimally.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in product management in the cyber security industry.

  • Strong technical background and familiarity with security concepts and technologies.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
