Role: Application Security Engineer
Location: UK Remote
Salary: £80,000-£100,000
I am currently working with a small yet very successful consultancy who has won multiple awards and is recognised for great pay, working flexibility and benefits. They are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their talented team.
This role has clear set progression paths which can be achieved quickly, , and you will gain exposure to the latest tools and technologies that can strengthen your skill set and knowledge.
Working in a close knit team will mean you learn from your colleagues and can pass on some of your skills onto junior engineers, helping them to succeed.
Role includes:
Working in either an AZURE, Linux or Windows environment depending on your experience
Threat modelling, code reviewing/changing and most importantly testing
Utilising different testing tools and mastering these, such as BurpSuite, OWASP Zap and Metasploit
Working within an agile environment and closely with DevSecOps professionals
Conducting pen-testing activities
Working within a close knit team, as well as being able to work independently
Essential experience:
At least 4 years experience in Application Security
Experience working on web applications BurpSuite, OWASP Zap and Metasploit
Experience security testing and using different tools such as
Azure experience is very much desired with this role
Experience threat modelling and reviewing codes
